What components does a typical CIP station consist of?

A typical CIP station consists of several tanks (the size of which depends on the size of the devices being cleaned), as well as elements such as:

• heaters or heat exchangers,

How does CIP cleaning work?

The CIP system utilizes a circulating system of cleaning solutions (alkaline, acidic, and rinse water) that flow through the system, removing sediment, organic, and mineral contaminants. The process is fully automatic, with programmable parameters such as temperature, cleaning time, and chemical concentration. CIP cleaning can be performed as a single-use or multiple-use cycle. In the former, the final rinse water and the working solution are discharged to a treatment plant, while in the latter, these residues are prepared for reuse, ensuring savings in utility consumption.
